The range of services that we promote regarding Geotechnics lies in complementing geotechnics with the available tools that ensure adequate knowledge of the soil and subsoil, which provide the benefit of using specialized criteria to provide sufficient support and stability to civil works.
Activities:
Drilling for direct sounding provides the necessary parameters to quantify the properties of the soils where it is intended to lay the foundations, likewise the samples of cuttings obtained in said operation are subjected to triaxial compression tests in the laboratory as well as various soil mechanics tests that submit the samples to stress levels and conditions that recreate the soil layers.
The studies that are recommended depend on the depth to which the foundation system will be planted, or of landslide control, it can be from Vertical Electrical Soundings to the Refraction Seismic range and seismic or Electrical Tomography, which is determined by means of a previous diagnostic.
The interpretation of parameters is generated through the feeding of finite element algorithms where an analysis of deformation and stability is produced using the Mohr-Coulomb methodology, through which foundation interactions with the encasing rock are staged.
